Gresik Mediarestorasiindonesia.com Under the leadership of Regent H. Fandi Akhmad Yani S.E, MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Gresik have skyrocketed. Why not, in almost every meeting with entrepreneurs, Gus Yani, the Gresik Regent’s nickname, always doesn’t get tired of introducing MSMEs.
Including what Gus Yani did today, Friday (01/04/2022). He met with business actors who are big companies in the Kebomas sub-district and the Gresik sub-district of the city. He wants the interaction between business actors and MSMEs in Gresik. According to him, over time, MSMEs must rise to their economic level in the midst of the post-Covid-19 pandemic.
“We want synergy between the government, business actors and MSMEs. Because in the post-pandemic situation, MSME economic conditions must improve and start to rise,” said Gus Yani.
As a local government, Gus Yani wants business actors to care about the surrounding environment. Especially business actors to want to involve MSMEs to establish partnership or cooperation relationships. “For example, around the company there are MSMEs that are engaged in food. Now, if a company has an event and needs consumption, the order is at the MSME,” said Gus Yani.
Gus Yani added, “RI President Joko Widodo once said that ministers are not allowed to buy imported goods. “So we also do the same thing, that business actors in Gresik must support our MSME movement by buying their local products (MSMEs),” he explained. .
The millennial regent, who is also the Chair of the MSME Development Division throughout Indonesia, is committed to harmonizing all stake holders, and currently that commitment starts at the sub-district level. “Mr. Camat, tell companies around your area to buy MSME products in their respective areas. If someone refuses, report it to me, I’ll go to the company later,” he said.
According to him, this is a form of corporate responsibility towards the surrounding environment by cooperating with MSMEs. The goal is for MSMEs to be advanced, independent and of high quality. “Diskoperindag has provided assistance, DPMPTSP also provides convenience in licensing, it’s just the company’s willingness to help the community to be invited to partner through MSMEs,” concluded Gus Yani.
Meanwhile, the Head of PTSP DPM, A.M Reza Pahlevi in his report said that the Gresik Regency government has given appreciation and appreciation for business actors who have partnered with MSMEs through empowerment. There are about 20 companies in the Kebomas and Gresik Kota sub-districts that have partnered with MSMEs and were given awards. (iis/DOD).
