The inaugurated APINDO Gresik management consists of the Advisory Board, the Advisory Board, the Advisory Board and the Executive Board. For the service period from 2022 to 2027, APINDO is commanded by Alfan Wahyuddin, who is the CEO of ASUKA Group and is a native of Gresik.
This activity was carried out thanks to the collaboration between APINDO Gresik and the Gresik Regency Government through the Gresik Manpower Office, and is supported by companies in the Gresik area, both APINDO Gresik Member companies, companies receiving K3 awards and sponsoring companies.
The holding of this activity is a form of collaboration to jointly present Gresik as an industrial city that is friendly to investment but cares about workers, especially related to the safety and health of workers.
It is hoped that this collaboration that has been established can be improved so that more companies run and receive OSH awards and for companies that have received OHS awards, in the future they can rise to a higher level.
Gresik Regent Fandi Akhmad Yani, who was present in person at this activity, started his remarks by mentioning the G20 presidency with the theme _Recover Together, Recover Stronger_. Regent Yani assessed that there were 3 main points in the activity, namely the momentum of recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic, then also a political statement that Indonesia was able to host and be able to overcome the problem of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“After that, there will be trust, how investment in Indonesia is guaranteed. From the holding of the G20 event, we continue to encourage the rise of our MSMEs,” explained Regent Yani.
In his relationship with APINDO, the millennial regent explained that APINDO’s duties and functions are to increase productivity and human capital in Gresik Regency and to build conduciveness in Pancasila industrial relations.
Gresik Regency which is ranked 8th nationally as the Regency with the highest investment must have a multiplier effect on reducing unemployment.
“The main key to lowering the unemployment rate is through education, either through vocational or training. Therefore, I invite all associates to collaborate together to build and improve our education,” said Regent Yani.
Regent Yani revealed that there are still many problems in the industrial sector in Gresik Regency. But he is sure that collaboration and synergy from all elements will be able to solve these problems one by one.
“There are many problems in the industrial world that we must solve together. We from the local government through the Manpower Office and all existing associations, let’s work together to unravel all the problems that exist in Gresik Regency, starting from places of worship, worker welfare, to working facilities for women. I believe that together we can solve these problems,” he concluded.
Regarding MSMEs, in front of the participants, Regent Yani asked to continue to encourage MSMEs in Gresik Regency to continue to adapt in this era. A small example that we are currently doing is that in this kind of activity the snacks can be taken from SMEs from around us and this we should have an example of to do in each of our places of business.
Besides Regent Yani, Gresik Deputy Regent Aminatun Habibah was also present, Gresik Regional Secretary Achmad Washil Miftahul Rachman together with the Head of Police and Dandim, Chair of the East Java Apindo DPP Eddy Widjanarko, Apindo Advisor Rudy Wahyu Soesilo, Head of the East Java Provincial Manpower Office Himawan Estu Bagijo, and several heads OPD in the Gresik Regency Government such as Head of Gresik Manpower Office Budi Raharjo, Head of DPTMPTSP Gresik AM Reza Pahlevi and several other OPDs.
In this activity, the K3 award was also handed over from the Governor of East Java, which was handed over directly by the Regent Yani. K3 awards were given to 76 companies, consisting of 4 categories, namely: Zero Accident, SMK3, Vaccine and HIV.
The handing over of the K3 award directly by the Regent Yani shows the seriousness of the Regent Yani as the head of the Gresik Regency to encourage companies in Gresik to be serious about implementing OSH, and also to give appreciation to companies that have implemented OSH with the hope that in the future more companies will be involved. run and get the K3 award, for companies that have received the K3 award today, it is hoped that in the future it will rise to a higher level.(nnd/DOD).
