The assistance is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the Indonesian Capital Market Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), which consists of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), PT. Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI) and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI).
The assistance was given in commemoration of the 44th Anniversary of the Reactivation of the Indonesian Capital Market (44th Anniversary of the Indonesian Capital Market). SRO provides sea ambulance assistance which can facilitate access to health for the people of Gresik who are in the Bawean islands.
The sea ambulance assistance equipped with medical equipment was symbolically handed over by the Chair of the 44th Anniversary of the Indonesian Capital Market who also serves as Director of KSEI Syafruddin to the Regent of Gresik, H. Fandi Akhmad Yani at Gresik Harbor, Friday (22/04/2022).
The handover was also witnessed by the Deputy Director of OJK Capital Market Information System Development, Gustaf Rajagukguk, Deputy Director of Supervision of Financial Services Institutions 4 and Licensing, Regional Financial Services Authority Office 4 East Java, Mohamad Eka Gonda Sukmana, Director of Technology and Risk Management IDX, Fithri Hadi, Director of KPEI, Iding Pardi and Deputy Regent of Gresik, Hj. Amintun Habibah.
Chairman of the 44th Anniversary of the Indonesian Capital Market, Syafruddin, in his speech said that the sea ambulance provided was a form of caring for Indonesia’s health. There are 5 ambulance units given to 5 regions, one of which was received by the Gresik Regency Government.
“Because we see the high need for people who are far from urban areas, especially in island areas. As part of health services managed by related institutions, we hope that this sea ambulance can be optimally utilized by the general public in need,” explained Syafruddin.
This activity is directly supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Meanwhile, to all parties who are members of the Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), the Regent of Gresik, H. Fandi Akhmad Yani expressed his extraordinary gratitude for the assistance provided.
Gus Yani, who is familiarly known as the Regent of Gresik, said that the sea ambulance will later serve the people in the Bawean Islands. Meanwhile, said Gus Yani, the medical facility in the form of a sea ambulance will reach people on Gili Island who need medical services at the Umar Mas’ud Hospital.
“On behalf of the Gresik Regency Government and the community, I am very grateful. This sea ambulance will definitely benefit the people of the Bawean archipelago. On the Gili islands, which are still part of the Bawean archipelago, there are about 1,800 residents or 300 families (KK). great benefit for the people there,” said Gus Yani.
Gus Yani added, the Gili Islands also still have not fulfilled their electricity supply. So that the electricity on the Gili Islands cannot be used for a full 24 hours. For this reason, the Gresik Regency Government is seeking electricity supply for the people on the Gili Islands. “So far, the Gili Islands have not had a full 24-hour electricity supply. We, the Gresik regency government, are currently trying to realize the electricity supply through PLTD. Hopefully this year it can be realized,” added Gus Yani.
