Gresik mediarestorasiindonesia.com The Earth alms routine was held again after 2 years had been slack due to the pandemic in Cagak Hamlet, Cagak Agung Village, Cerme District on Sunday, (31/07). Presenting a shadow puppet show, this time Alms Earth was attended by the Regent of Gresik H. Fandi Akhmad Yani, SE.
Sedekah Bumi this time was special because it was accompanied by a symbolic distribution of gas stoves from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources represented by PT. Gresik Oil and Gas.
Also present were the Camat Cerme Umar Hasyim, Kapolsek Cerme Mushiram, Danramil Cerme Karmu, Head of Cagak Agung Village Muhammad Sapaat, AKD Gresik, and President Director of PT. Gresik Migas Habibullah, as well as other invitees.
Sapaat as the Head of Cagak Agung village expressed his gratitude for the implementation of the earth alms as well as the symbolic distribution of stoves given to his village. This is to support the gas network program that has been installed in his village.
“Hopefully later it can be useful for the residents of the Cagak hamlet in particular,” he said.
According to the Head of Cerme Sub-district, Umar Hasyim, this gas network program is the first in Gresik and has covered 6 villages and 4,000 households in the Cerme area.
“One of them, in other sub-districts there is no gas network. Here, 6 villages have been preceded by 4,000 (households),” he said.
He continued that this was an embodiment of the Nawa Karsa promoted by the Regent of Gresik.
Habibullah as the President Director of PT. Gresik Migas, which is a Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD), said that 90 percent of the installation of the gas network program has been running this year and there will be additional installation of a gas network of 1,000 households this year. He also guarantees that the installation of the gas network will not be charged or free.
“Therefore, the Regent, in 2021, ordered us to provide a gas network, with a note 1, free of charge, there is no charge for the installation,” he said.
“As reported by the Regent, about 90 percent of the jargas have been installed, and the stoves are also ready to be given to the beneficiaries, and God willing, 1,000 household channels will be added this year,” Habib added.
According to Gus Yani, the Earth Alms event is a form of gratitude and thanks to Allah SWT. which is one of the practices in the month of Muharram.
“And there is one thing we have to do, the most (namely) alms,” he said.
Gus Yani also urges us to always preserve the traditional arts around us. Like the wayang golek art that is displayed at this time’s alms of the earth.
“Hopefully we will preserve this cultural art, because this is a cultural heritage that we must protect,” he said.
In his remarks, Gus Yani said that the gas network and stove program was the fruit of the mandate given by the government to provide benefits to local residents.
“Mr. Habibullah, who serves as the president of oil and gas, which is assigned by the government must be able to provide benefits, in this case contributing to the fact that the gas and stove network services are in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources,” he said.
He also reiterated that the installation of this jargas is free and ready to be used in August.
“The stove has been divided, the connection has been installed, God willing, this August it will be on,” he said.
According to him, this jargas will be more efficient and cheaper in terms of price and others. So Gus Yani urges the public to think ahead on how to use public gas to the fullest.
On this occasion, Dusun Cagak Agung received 20 gas stoves. The handover was carried out symbolically by the Regent of Gresik Gus Yani and the President Director of PT. Gresik Migas Habibullah to the residents of Dusun Cagak accompanied by the Head of Cagak Agung Village and the Head of Cerme Sub-district. (TLH/DOD).
